Portugal has always been a place we dreamed of sharing with our loved ones. Sunny skies. Incredible food and wine. Landscapes that feel both relaxed and magical. Since you are traveling all this way to celebrate with us, we want to help you make the most of your trip.

Here are some of our favorite ideas. Whether you want to sip Port by the river, wander through colorful streets, or take in the views from a vineyard terrace.

Wine & Food Experiences 🍷

Douro Valley Wine Tours
Rolling hills covered in vineyards, winding roads, and a glass of wine in hand. The Douro is one of the oldest wine regions in the world and it is breathtaking. Some of our favorites are Quinta do Bomfim in Pinhão and Graham’s Lodge in Porto.
Tip: Book ahead, especially in August.

Port Wine Cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia
Across the river from Porto’s center, the wine cellars are full of history and tastings. We love visiting Taylor’s at sunset for the city view.

Foodie Treats

  • Francesinha, Porto’s most famous sandwich.

  • Pastel de nata, the custard tart that never disappoints.

  • Grilled sardines in summer.
